We are looking for a host /hostess to join us a minimum of 2 years' experience with open table and in a restaurant of a similar standing is desirable, you should have an interest in food and wine with exceptional customer service, availability to stay calm when under pressure, strong team working skills, proactive, natural ability to be organised, using initiative and a willingness to go above and beyond.
THE STORY OF PADELLA
Jordan and Tim, who opened Trullo (www.trullorestaurant.com) together in June 2010, have long dreamed of having a pasta bar that served the best hand-rolled pasta with authentic, slow-cooked Italian sauces; together with a small number of exceptional wines coming straight from the barrel, an Italian cocktail list and a few of their favourite ice creams, pastries and sourdough bread, produced on site.
FOOD, WINE & COMPANY ETHOS
As a host we will train you to have knowledge of the seasonal British and European produce used at Padella, along with an understanding of the traditional Italian cooking techniques utilised and how they make our pasta unique. You would learn to have an understanding of the various methods of wine production, the wine regions of Italy, and the important regional food and wine combinations. Our standards of service, like our cooking, are simple but exacting, requiring the highest levels of efficiency and charm as well as the ability to prioritise under pressure.
